from, but my husband's cousin said some of his Pakistani friends made it for him. It is cooked in one pot and has chicken, rice, potatoes(I think) and cauliflower all layered and when ready to serve it, it is "flipped" onto a platter so that whatever the first ingredient in the pot was is now on top.

He's coming from New York City this week Friday. I want to cook him a nice Paki dish. I ate at his place about 3 times when he lived down here in Jersey, but I don't know what his dishes were called, it was good though, lol. Anyways, anyone know a really good Paki dish. I could get the recipes, I just want to know, what to make?
Also, the sex is good with him!!! lol, any girls like Paki Men?
I work 9 to 6.
In my locality you won't find hygenic food.
Caz i work a lot, i get tired, so i cant cook my meal daily.
Any quick recipe for instant cooking.
I think i am loosing my wait gradually.
I am a Muslim and Pakistani.
its something ive been trying to sort out for years , people tend to provide rotten restaurant recipes
Are there some "starter dishes" thatI can cook with a slow cooker (ie a crock pot) or with a pressure cooker? how do I modify other recipes to cook in one or the other?
Please give the Ingredients and easy to follow instructions to enable me to make an authentic home cooked dish. X
I have had a go my self, but never seems to come out quite right. I get the sauce consistency ok, sometimes a bit to runny, the hotness is usally just right, but the flavour isn't that great. I usually start of adding vegetable oil, then frying some onions until golden, then adding some crushed garlic, small green pepper, ginger and frying that, then adding abit of corienda, cumin, turmeric and some chilly powder putting it in a bowl adding bit of water and adding it to the rest of the ingredients in the frying pan then next adding some chicken and sealing it, then adding tomatoes that I've pureed, letting it cook for a bit occasionally adding water, then adding bit of garam masala, some corienda leaves and then seasoning and serving, but it never tastes right. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong. I was wondering if anyone had any good Indian or Pakistani curry recipe, something I can use with any meat or vegetable just a curry sauce or past recipe.
Thx
i really love eating traditional sweet rice at pakistani weddings and my mum can make nice ones too. however, my mum makes the yellow ones and they dont quite taste the same. i really want to know how to make simple multicoloured rice, which tastes like the wedding ones. ive checked on the net, but the recipes are either too complicated or only about the yellow rice. i espcially get stuck on the actual colouring part... how do u get them multicoloured? i would really appreciate your help.. thanx!
When you walk past a pakistani household and the wonderful aroma of a curry wafts up your nostrils dont you wish you could knock the door and beg for a taste, I do. I come from Birmingham and a Balti is a consumer curry made for the commercial masses. I want Ammas (mums ) recipe please, thin sauce, just made for dipping your chappatis and roti in. Birmingham Has a Wonderfully massive pakistani community so ingredients are not a problem to come by. Please no restaurant curries or packet mixes.
I'm looking for a good website to learn cooking. Thanks a lot in advance.
